It's kinda been a long awaited one of the best newcomers that I've been waited, but she is singing from London so that I was supposed to be guessing that she wouldn't have one for daytrotter so soon. It was even so soon but also so long, just a little long since she released her debut tune "Sister Wife" and UK's producer Star Slinger took her killer tune to remix out.
Here the best thing of stuff that I really loved. Even it shouldn't be a past tense but it being loved. But someone may not think of her, is having a good sense to be a professional as a musician. I don't even get it because if you are considering the sort of professionalism for enjoying your favorite music, in some case it works but mostly it won't in my opinion. Being enjoyable to sing out is to feel it out.
Her songs on this daytrotter session which she debuts over from London is the best vacuuming stuff of hers, I think when I first listened to. Then you can even get this article to be provided for another, please.

Alex Winston（アレックス・ウィンストン）の今回のデビューデイトラターセッションにも収録の"Sister Wife"を初めて聴いてから、丸二年くらい経ちそうです。おそらく。その当時、Star SlingerというUKのプロデューサーにリミックスされたりで、なかなか引っ張りだこだったように思っていて、ようやくデイトラデビューをさらっとされました。大好きなニューカマーシンガーでした。オリジナリティーとルーツ深いポップだからです。
すみません、やっぱり日本語で中身を持たせた文章を今は書ける気がしません（笑）
ただ、今でも初めて彼女の歌声を、そのシスターワイフを聞いたときの感動は鮮明に覚えてます。まず声に。彼女の、（下手な表現をすれば）ぬめっとした歌声が凄く心地よく耳に残り癒してくれます。彼女の声は正に良質なポップソングを歌い表現する為にある様に初めから思えた程です。その上、インターネットワールド上で観れる、彼女のMVや映像群の数々からも読み取れる彼女自身のとてもスウィートかつ力強い様子は、今回のデイトラのショーンの記事でも紹介されたように、彼女のその人生と心からの言葉のパンチ力を反映させたかのリリックが、その上でとてもそのポップソングにのっかったときのその最強感。
僕がポップミュージックに求める、この軽快さと力強さ、が彼女のキャラクターが如実に投影されたオリジナリティやその楽曲には詰まっている。
今回ひとつ残念なのは、彼女自身のことではなく、デイトラッターのこのセッションがロンドンで録音されたという事。この経緯はfbなりtwitsなりで読み取れるのかも知れませんが、単純に彼女の「Welcome to」とこのショーンの文章量とサイトとしての以前にはなかったコンスタントさに、力の入り様が少し欠けている様に感じて、その部分だけ残念でした。ただ、音源はバンドとの一体感も存分に感じられ、デビュアルバムもドロップした現在（実際いつ録音されたものか把握していないので時系列はわかりませんが）の活動の充実度まで伝わってきます。ロンドンで活動するアーティストを現地から届けてくれる様になっている、デイトラッターには逆に感謝せねばなりませんね。
P.S.
ちなみに、Star Slingerは私、昨年２０１１年１０月にショウを観ているのですが、なかなか長い彼のセットの中でSister Wifeも披露されました。無論、大盛り上がりでした。

Alex Winston is tougher than she looks. We're not really sure where she gets it from, but the comely, classically-trained singer from Michigan, could rattle some doors if she was pushed into the corner. She warns about calling her sugar or darling, even when she sounds as if there's nothing better that could fit her. She's a locomotive that keeps going and going, never slowing down, if what she sees at the depots isn't to her liking. She won't just sit on the tracks. She won't need a tug. She just gets the steel wheels gaining momentum again and once they're in motion, only hell or high waters could get them to reverse course.
She sings with the brilliance of conviction, of knowing that she's the engineer and if someone's not aboard by the time she wants to pull out of the station, then that's just a whole lotta tough shit for them. The attitude that runs through her songs - while still surprisingly sweet for the tone of the back-stabbing and infidelity that she's singing about - must have come from those times that she opened herself up and made herself available, all of which turned out to be costly and scarring. She sings on "Guts":
"Goddamn, you're a liar/Threw me into the fire/I shoulda known, I shoulda known/My body's full of guts and other stuff/My body's full enough/To pull myself out.
"You let the bottom drop off/It's such a cop-out/Don't you feel ashamed/You, led me to the slaughter/But I'm someone's daughter."
She counts on that body full of guts for many things, not the least of which is the muscle memory that activates her trigger finger on the hand that waves goodbye.
